ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent FB Ryan Yurachek, the club announced Friday.
Yurachek originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall last month. The 6-foot, 240-pounder played four years (2014-17) as a tight end, appearing in 51 games and tallying 143 receptions for 1,354 yards and 26 touchdowns. A native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., he earned first-team All-Conference USA honors and was a team captain as a senior in 2017, while finishing second in touchdowns and third in both receptions and yards among tight ends in school history.
In a corresponding move, the Raiders have waivedFB Henry Poggi, who signed with the club as an undrafted free agent in May.
